I prefer lyrical, metered free verse. I create my own form using an iambic amalgamation of what great poets have established. I love the musical devices, opportunities for word-play or double entendres poetry offers and employ them when I can. Even those few poems (there are some political rants in When Monkeys feel Rhythms) that follow a more narrative quality tend to need some semblance of meter.
